1) Learn the rules. If you cannot learn the rules, then all basis of communication is lost. This is one of the most imperitive things you must do when starting off at this site.
2) Next, you must recognize your superiors. By this, I mean recognize those who are above you and respect them. Right now, the staff members are : ~Xiahou Dun (Head Admin ~Numi (Second Highest ranking Admin)
3) Next you can sign up as a character. Do so by going to this thread. (link will be added at a later date) You can either choose a historical character from Luo Guanzhong's "Romance of the Three Kingdoms," or you can create on yourself. The only catch is when creating or making a character, you have 350 points to distribute evenly.
4) Then, and only then can you start roleplaying. Most importantly, have fun. These rules aren't here to restrict you, but make this place as organized and fun as possible. Also, there is more to this site then just roleplaying. Be sure to post in the General Chat section aswell as the sections for talking about Luo Guanzhong's famous novel and the Dynasty Warriors series.

Further Tips and Advice from Numi
Make a thread to be your home. It will allow for more deeper roleplaying and people will be able to leave 'notes' when you are at war or in another city.
Do not use the Private Messages too much, especially with any business relating to the storyline or RP. Trust the wisdom of Numi, it's much more fun when people try to overanalyze your words and jump at the slightest hint that you did not intend to make.
And finally, choose your liege!!! He may grant you many gifts and endorsements. So much potential are resting with the liege, you should ALWAYS tap into something like that.

I've set the distribution of points to be 400. -80 -80 -80 -80 -80 if evenly divided.
More stats, more potential. Lu Di can overpower himself (like he is in dw) by going 280-30-30-30-30, and then choose the duelist class to get the bonus. He would be unstoppable except for the ASSASIN, who could beat Lu Di if he can rp well and get the full bonus of the Assasin class to boost his war.
I'm saying this because Xiahou Dun has set it to 325. I thought that was to conservative.
